Marcheal Renea Criner was born October 18, 1961 to Mollie Doris Criner in Stuttgart, Arkansas. She departed this life on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas surrounded by the love of her family.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at First Missionary Baptist Church in Stuttgart, under the leadership of Rev. D.L. O’Neal. She was a 1980 graduate of Stuttgart Public Schools.
Renea attended Ricebelt Vocational Technical School in Stuttgart, where she became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Her nursing career began at Rose Care Nursing Home in Stuttgart. She later worked as an Infirmary Nurse at the Arkansas Department of Corrections in Tucker, Arkansas. Renea returned to Rose Care Nursing Home, that later evolved into Crestpark of Stuttgart, where she remained employed until the time of her illness. Her career as a nurse spanned forty years. Renea was competent and caring in her field and loved working with people.
Renea was a loving mother, sister, and aunt who helped anyone she could.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Roshaundra Criner, mother Mollie Criner, sister Marian Barber, brothers Thedore Criner, Dwan Criner, Michael Criner, and Raymon Humphrey, niece Cynthia Mills, and nephew Malik Thomas.
Renea leaves to cherish her memory her loving partner Leo Adams of Stuttgart, AR; one son Ryan Criner of Stuttgart, AR; two daughters Reneakia Criner of Little Rock, AR and Rashadra Criner of Stuttgart, AR; five granddaughters Raven Banks of Dallas, TX, Tybriea Banks of Frisco, TX, Ne’veah Tolliver of Little Rock, AR, Raegen Ross and Reign Ross, both of Stuttgart, AR; two grandsons Caleb Criner of Waxahachie, TX and O’Ryan Criner of Holly Grove, AR; four sisters Joyce (Fred) Washington of Little Rock, AR, Kimberly Humphrey of Conway, AR, Shirley Humphrey of Milwaukee, WI, and Delois (Edward) Lavance of Stuttgart, AR; four brothers Calvin (Bronwyn) Criner of Little Rock, AR, Alonzo Criner of Orlando, FL, Leonardo (Bridgett) Criner of Little Rock, AR, and Walter Humphrey of Memphis, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
